Yeah makes sense – Mistaken Point is near there.

If I had to make a guess……I would say it is a place called ” mistaken point” on the way around the tip of the Avalon before you get to Cape Race.

Whew! Glad we did not mistake it for Cape Race and turn north into the treacherous rocks like its name suggests !! 🙂
